The average age of the vines is well over 40 years. The blend comprises 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. It is fermented in traditional wooden vats in a temperature-controlled chai, with a 4-week cuvaison. The wine is aged for 16 months in new to 3-year-old barriques.
