Bodegas Lacus is situated in Aldeanueva de Ebro in the Rioja Baja and is owned by Luis Arnedo. He owns 15 hectares across 7 parcels including several old vine parcels, planted by his grandfather. Luis works closely with his consultant and fellow winemaker, Frenchman Olivier Rivère, to produce some of the most exciting and innovative wines from Rioja Baja. Total production is just 20,000 bottles across the four wines of his Inedito (unpublished) range. All the wines have wonderful purity and freshness which defy the heat and default style of the region. Inédito Turrax Blanco Single vineyard blend of Maturana Blanca and Turruntés, 70% is aged in old French oak for 5 months.
